TULSA CITIZENS’ GRAND JURY PETITION

Help us secure a Grand Jury Investigation for Oklahoma children!

We need to collect 5,000 Tulsa County registered voter signatures by 12/23/2024 to initiate a full investigation into the Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA), Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY), OSBI Director (to address the decision not to investigate), the Tulsa District Attorney, certain Tulsa judges, and the staff at the Tulsa Juvenile Center.

GRAND JURY PETITION INSTRUCTIONS

Updated Guide for Petition Signature Collection for GJ-2024-1

Signature Gathering
• Only registered voters in Tulsa County are eligible to sign.
• The Circulator (the person collecting signatures) must be present to witness each signature.
Affidavit Requirement for Circulators
• Each Signature Page must be accompanied by a Notarized Affidavit of the Circulator.
• The affidavit certifies that the Circulator personally witnessed the signing of each signature.
• Ensure there is one affidavit for each Signature Page—affidavits and signature pages must match in number.
• Affidavits must be notarized—please arrange for a notary if needed.
